"Excuse me, I am homeless. I am gay. I have AIDS. I'm new in town.' You're gonna close with 'new in town'? That is not the most dramatic thing that you just said.

Finished this book a few days and it was really really good. It’s insanely sad and funny at the same time and when I finished I didn’t even know what to think. After a few days of mulling it over I’ve come to the conclusion that this book will stick with me for a while. I’ll definitely reread this in five years or so just to see if I feel differently about certain parts of it.
I definitely recommend it. I guess my only thing would be that I think you should probably at least be in college or at that age or else it won’t really make sense and will just seem really depressing. I hate saying that though because I hate doubting people’s ability to comprehend books.
